We train Peer Specialists to advocate for and support individuals participating in behavioral health services. Peer Specialists help lead individuals toward wellness and recovery from mental illness and/or substance abuse. Peer Specialists meet with individuals of all ages and their families and support system throughout the Region 3 geographic area. Region 3 partners with the Office of Consumer Affairs of the Division of Behavioral Health in training, promotion, and statewide initiatives.
