BEHAVIORAL HEALTH OUTREACH WORKERS

Region 3 is seeking applicants for multiple Behavioral Health Outreach Workers.  The Outreach Workers will assist individuals and communities in recovering from the challenging effects of disasters through the provision of community-based outreach and psychoeducational services. Services will be provided to individuals who reside in the 22 counties served by Region 3. Outreach Workers will assist individuals in addressing their immediate needs, reviewing their disaster recovery options, reduce stress and provide emotional support, and connect with other people and agencies who can help in their recovery process. Applicants are required to have experience working with people. EMERGENCY COMMUNITY SUPPORT COORDINATOR

 

Region 3 is seeking applicants for an Emergency Community Support Coordinator in Kearney.  The successful candidate will work with transition age (16-26) individuals who are experiencing a mental health and/or substance abuse crisis by assessing needs, linking to needed services, and providing follow-up support in the community. 

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a human service related field with at least two years experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance abuse needs.
