
Payroll/Benefits Coordinator
Region 3 Behavioral Health Services is seeking qualified applicants to join our accounting team in Kearney.
Qualified applicants will have:
- Proficiency in Excel
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Exceptional verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational communication skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Accounting/Business Administration preferred
- 3+ years accounting experience
- Payroll processing experience
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll
- Update payroll records by entering payroll deductions
- Post payroll journal entries
- Prepare payroll tax returns
- Serve as the Plan Administrator for Region 3 insurance plans
- Assist in processing accounts payable transactions
- Contact and collaborate with insurance agents on Region 3 accounts
- Track employee leave time
- Manage agency vehicles
- Prepare W-2 Forms and E-File.
- Maintain I-9 and W-4 Forms
- Manage agency cell phone plan
